The Galleries @ DSC are a permanent space located on the second floor of Detroit Shipping Company in Midtown, Detroit. The galleries house informal rotating exhibitions of work by emerging artists local to the Detroit area. Our mission is to strengthen the Detroit arts community by increasing exposure for local emerging artists and, at the same time, connect our audience with work that will inspire, challenge, and entertain.
We believe Art is for Everybody; that contemporary art should be easily accessible and affordable. In this, we bring art to the general public through non-traditional methods, with the aim of promoting art and collecting.
